Deadliest Catch Visits Martha Stewart

I thought it was quite humorous watching Martha Stewart this past Friday. Sig and Edgar Hansen from the Discovery Channel’s hit reality show, Deadliest Catch visited the show.
I wasn’t sure just how the demographics of the Martha Stewart Show fit in with fan-base of Deadliest Catch, but I suppose some producer did. The funniest part was watching a very proper Martha Stewart chatting it up with truly a couple of salty characters. The guys I think handled themselves great. Sig seemed a little bit more comfortable than Edgar. Edgar had that look in his face of, “why am I here?”.
She berated them in her subtle passive-aggressive way about the 3-pack a day smoking habit, but reality is, when you are putting your life on the line for a couple of weeks each year and facing death in the eye, cigarettes just don’t seem so bad. They deal with waves the size of mountains, frigid temperatures and crab pots so big (much larger than pictured above) that if they fell over on top of a man it would kill him and hoisting tons and tons of Alaskan King Crabs.
You can watch the Martha Meets Crab Man video. The new season of Deadliest Catch has begun and airs on Tuesday nights at 9pm EST on the Discovery Channel.
