Anthony Bourdain’s Tour Reruns on Food TV

 It was peaceful this morning as I sat sipping coffee and checking-out what is occurring in Food Land, then with my eyes glazed and fixed I read these infamous words, “Bourdain Back on Food Network”!!!!

After I picked myself off the floor and rubbed my eyes, I realized that it was not sleep distorting my view.  Mike at TV Food Fan has reported that, yes, Anthony Bourdain’s repeat of A Cook’s Tour will hit marathon status on Christmas Day and then be placed on the network’s prime time line-up beginning January 8, Tuesday at 10:30pm EST.

I will say that this makes sense in the realm of the Food Network’s new strategy.  Their weekday’s and weekend mornings focus on cooking, while their prime time line-up is all about reality and competition.  Anthony Bourdain is a popular icon and the young, hip crowd loves him.

I wonder who is relishing this more, The Food Network or Anthony Bourdain.  Something tells me that we are soon to hear some comment from the man himself.
