Brooklyn Pizza Tours
In honor of National Pizza Month, I give you Brooklyn Pizza Tours.
When visiting New York people concentrate a great deal of their time to Manhattan, but New York is more than just this one glitzy island. There are 5 burroughs that make-up New York City. Brooklyn is the home to over 2 million New Yorkers and is the backdrop to a lot of movie moments. I don’t think that anyone can “Fuhgettaboudit”.
The pizza tour is a 4 1/2 hour bus trip around Brooklyn. You will eat pizza at various locations with their own spin on an American staple. In between pizza stops you will get a history lesson of places like the Coney Island Boardwalk, The Battle of Brooklyn from the Revolutionary War, and visit Cinematic landmarks where classics like Annie Hall, The French Connection and Saturday Night Fever were filmed. You will also get a little history lesson about pizza from Italy to Brooklyn. During the Christmas season they have a Christmas lights tour of Dyker Heights.
