Do It Yourself for Halloween

The DIY Network is there to help you this Halloween. They have some great and easy ideas for decorating, entertaining and of course some easy costumes. I am using their Pirate idea for my boys this year.
Halloween Pumpkin Palooza has something for all ages. The Kid Friendly Witch’s Brew looks tasty and best of all has a great wow factor…dry ice is in play. Give the adults at the Halloween Party a cocktail choice, the Morguerita or the Spooktini.

Spooktini
Ingredients:
Blavod black vodka
extra dry vermouth
martini shaker
martini glasses
pickled green tomatoes, or olives
toothpicks Pour a few drops of vermouth in each martini glass and swirl it around to coat the glass.Fill the martini shaker with ice. Add the black vodka and shake.Pour the martini into the prepared glasses. Garnish with a “frog eye” (a pickled green tomato or olive) speared on a toothpick.
Don’t Forget the Creepy Drink Skewers!
The site has creepy sounds you can download to your computer and so many more great Halloween ideas. Go to the Halloween Pumpkin Palooza at DIY.

Yeah, they are perfect for Halloween. It is something both the kids and adults will think are creepy cool.

I could NEVER use those icky things in a drink. But still what an idea. I did my own party last year but it was big kiddie based so no adult spooks just things for the littles. I did make some awesome scary cupcakes though.

I’ll take some of that witches brew, heavy on the brew hehe. I wish I was having a party this year. :(

Yeah, a party is out for us this year too. Maybe I will just make some witch’s brew to get me through the trick-or-treaters.
