Handbags and Martha Stewart
Friday on Martha was Handbag Day. Everyone brought their favorite (and insanely expensive) handbags. Martha shared tips on care and why you should spend $6,000 on a purse. I have flirted with the idea of purchasing one for a couple of hundred dollars, but I do not ever think that I will be in that tax bracket. I will admit though, that I love handbags, totes, etc…and if I ever win the Lottery expensive handbags will be my guilty pleasure.
Watching the episode made me love Martha even more. She walked out with the infamous Hermes Birkin Handbag that she donned during her trial, and got a lot of heat for it. I know that I was one of those people. I mostly was irritated that the people around her didn’t think that it would have become news worthy and in so doing perpetuated the idea that Martha Stewart was “above” it all. I guess that hind-sight is 20/20. As she entered the show, I was sitting and thinking, “Is that “THE” bag??” It was and she even talked about it. A very smart move. Stating the obvious, talking about it and endearing all her fans. The woman may sometimes be clueless, ie…that even 20% of her viewers could ever spend thousands of dollars on a purse, but she always comes around and continues the dream of the ideal life, being Martha Stewart.

looked through the website and even sent an email…no answer as to the handbag or wallet to date.

The large purse that she used to show hoe to clean is Louis Vuitton Taiga Kasbek (if you go on th LV website it would be Kasbek GM)
Same with the mak-up holder.
Still on the hunt for the wallet.
