Top Chef, Season 3: Episode 10

I recorded Top Chef last week and thought I better take a quick view before tonight’s episode. To be honest, I have been busy with sick children, life and my heart is still a little broken after saying farewell to Tre. Yes, I understand why they got rid of him, but I think that they could have made a better decision.
I think what is becoming more interesting is watching our chefs often talk back to the judges. I have decided that if I was standing there after some of these lame challenges, little sleep, no time, no money, poor conditions, and often inadequate ingredients I too would be a little defensive.
A case in point is Hung during the Quickfire. $10, 20 minutes and the only ingredients you can choose from have to be from the cereal aisle? I am amazed that they gave him a hard time. I think that they need to do an episode and just once put these judges under the gun and see what they come up with.
In the end, Howie bid us farewell, and it was not really a shocker.
