It is understandable the pressure advertisers must feel. With the advancement of technology has come a problem: coming up with more innovative ways to advertise.
TV? Radios? We live in a fast moving computer age. People flip the channel when the commercial pops on the radio or are listening to their downloaded music. With DVR’s in most households, advertisers can no longer count on TV commercials to lure consumers. So what is a company supposed to do? How about shameless promotions of shows. Glad is promoting The Steamiest Chef Contest, contestants include Sam Talbot (former contestant on Top Chef) and Govind Armstrong among an alarming and competitive field.
