4 Days Until The Next Food Network Star
It is only four more days until the premier episode of The Next Food Network Star.
So, let’s continue getting to know our contestants.
Josh is a chef and ex-Marine from North Carolina. He actually grew up in the Bronx cooking for his siblings because his mom had to work to provide for the family. He is a Latin who wants to show that there is more to Latin Caribbean cuisine than rice and beans. He appeared to probably be a good cook, but maybe running on some extra octane. We will see if that gets the best of him. It seems to work for Rachael Ray.
Tommy is a financial planner, husband and father of two living just outside of Boston. He has no formal cooking training, but a lot of experience in the kitchen. His motto is “Grella Size It”….he is a large framed man with Grella for the last name. I have a feeling that his lack of professional training will be his downfall. There are some Food Network Celebrity Chefs without professional training, but most have run restaurants, catering companies, or have similar food experience.
