Making a Food Tray or Coasters with Rachael Ray

One of Rachael Ray’s “buds” was on her show last week with a very clever idea.

Have you ever wondered what to do with some of those small items you just don’t want to depart with?  You know the Memorabilia I am talking about.  Things like old Barbie clothes (pictured above), Baseball cards, or I even have some Star Wars Trading Cards from 1977.

You go to the hardware store and get some plexiglass.  Have them cut it to the size you want and have them put some screw holes in them as well.  You need a front and a back.  Sandwich the clothes, cards, pictures, or whatever fits in between the pieces of plexiglass and screw them together with machine screws and caps.

To get more information regarding this idea go over to the Rachael Ray Show website.  The archived show is May 22, 2007, the “Childhood Bedroom Makeover”.

The Rachael Ray Show website has added a new feature.  One of those ways to force more junk email your way.  The site does not allow you to look-up everything on the site.  You have to sign-up for “Club RR” to be able to reach all the information on the site.  It is free, but it more than irritates me. To get more information about this product you have to join the club.
