Pike Pub and Brewery a Must See in Seattle

Pike Pub & Brewery is a must see if you are in Seattle.  The brewery is located at Seattle’s historic Pike Place Farmer’s Market (the place where they throw the fish) on First Avenue.

They have a great selection of ales, from their most popular, Pike’s Pale Ale to darker ales.  They have a Pub at their brewery so you can try some food and probably the best bet is the Ale Sampler Platter.  For around $6 you can have a sample of 6 different ales.

The unique thing about the Pike Pub is that is surrounds the actual brewery, so you can eat and watch the beer brew.

Of course, they have tours and merchandise like t-shirts, pint glasses and coasters.  Unfortunately, the beer is only sold in 5 Western States and due to laws you can not purchase the beer on-line.  I thought that Prohibition was over?

Anyway, if you are taking a trip to Seattle don’t miss The Pike Pub and Brewery and have a sample platter for me.  Check-out their website and take a virtual tour and get more information.
