25 Great Foodie Gifts: #14 Fudge Wreath

by Tracey Thompson on December 22nd, 2006

Five-minute fudge wreaths

Rachael Ray was on Oprah and had a great idea not only to make for a party, but to give as a gift.  She made a 5 Minute Fudge Wreath.

I have made this several times and it is not only easy, but tastes great.  You need just a few ingredients and a cake tin.  She has a couple of different varieties.  I also have a tin with six mini bundt pans in it.  One of batch of the recipe makes six small ones.

When making the large one, just go to any department, discount or even dollar store and get some sort of serving plate that can hold an 8 inch cake.  Make the fudge, place it on the place wrap it in cellophane and add a bow.  It is not only quick and easy, but it tastes great and makes a fun last minute gift that everyone will appreciate.

My Sister gave me a Fudge Wreath for Xmas. I shared it with my daughters’ HS Art Teacher who said it was the best fudge she’d ever had.

She now wants the recipe…I googled it for her & Voila!!! I found it….so I’m sharing it with her.
Can you imagine her teaching this at school?? - it could be called “Edible Art”.
