25 Great Foodie Gifts: #12 Turkey Fryer
I saw these Turkey Fryers around just about everywhere around Thanksgiving.
There are several varieties of fryers, but the best is probably made by Masterbuilt. It is electric with a digital control. The great thing is that it is safe enough to use indoors on your counter top. The digital control allows you to input the to weight of the bird and then it will automatically set the time and temperature for the bird to cook.
These Masterbuilts hold up to a 14 lb. bird, 2 whole chickens, 10 pounds of crab legs and four game hens. It is great for not only frying turkeys, but also for low country boils.
For around $100 at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond it is a great kitchen appliance that you and keep using throughout the year.
