The great ole’ stand by are one of the favorite parts of the Holiday Season, cookies.
Making batches of cookies for your friends and family can be a great way to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza or even have a great New Year.
I always make about 6-8 different types each year to give to teachers along with a Christmas Tree ornament.
Another great idea comes from my group of friends. We have a close group of us that try to get together several times a year. A couple of years ago one of them began a friendship tradition and gave a plate of cookies. The plate is called the Friends and Family Plate. It has a nice poem about family and friends and is meant to be exchanged each year within a friend or family group.
