Rachel Ray’s Show Begins Monday September 18

Only three days to go until the start of Rachel Ray’s daytime “talk” show. If you didn’t know that you must have been stuck on a desert island for the last month.
Rachel has been everywhere including a nightly stint with Entertainment Tonight propping up her show. In our area she is going to be opposite Ellen’s Talk Show. I have a feeling Ellen’s days are numbered. There are so many Rachel Ray nuts (those that love her and those that hate her) out there that I think the show has a good chance. I am just curious what the format is going to be. The website doesn’t go into much detail. I know that they have a revolving stage which could be lots of fun, and I am sure since it is backed by Ms. Winfrey there will be a lot of audience freebies.
Well, I guess that the suspense will end in three more days!

I greatly admire Rachel Ray for her talent, beauty, personality and thoroughly enjoy all of her shows EXCEPT I am concerned about her new show. She seems nervous, loud, often interrupts her guests, and who….is dressing her!Layers, boots, belts, high collars, messy hair. She is naturally so pretty with a cute little figure - what are they doing to her!!!!!Her previous shows reflect an elegant and talented young woman - that is the persona we have come to love. If the show continues in this way, she will lose many loyal fans.

Hi Rachel, I watch your show every morning and love it! However, whenever you have celebrity guests, I notice how the viewers there are happy to be at the show and to see that celebrity in person. However, what would you think about taking it a step further? I notice how longingly they look at the celebrity and I was thinking,”It would be so much fun and also a little contest for that day or week, for one of the audiance members be the winner of sharing that particular meal with you and your celebrity guest! What a drawl for the show and what a treat for the audiance member. I also think that it would be fun for you(the doll baby that you are) and for your celebrity guest. Most of the celebrity guests seem to be very nice and down to earth people who would enjoy -if for lack of a better word, the contact with their every day fans.
Sincerely,
Devonna Smith

I hope you get this email Rachel. I watch your show every day and love it! When you have your celebrity guest, the audiance looks longingly. You can see (and hear) that they appreciate the opportunity to see ,some what up close, one of their favorite celebrities. What would do think about taking that a step further? Wouldn’t it be lots of fun to have a drawing or seat marked in the audiance and that lucky person would get to share the meal with you and your celebrity guest? All of the guests seem to be really nice and down to earth people and of course you are a baby doll, what a treat for that one lucky person in your audiance to be included.
Sincerely,
Devonna Smith

hi Rachael, i would like to say that my boyfriends sister got a dog from her boyfriend from the day she got it she or her boyfriend never watched it or stayed home with it she was always asking all of us to watch it almost every day she is still young and wasnt ready to take on the responability of a dog. So my boyfriend, his mom, and i decided that sense we were with this dog every day that we all would just take care of it and raise it together because we all fell in love with it and got attach to it and it got attach to us, so a few months went buy and then her and her boyfriend ended up breaking up so then he took the dog from us after we raised it for five and took care of all the vet bills, and food. My boyfriends mom is very upset and feels like she has lost her bestfriend. This dog looked exactly like isaboo from head to toe we have been looking on line for another one and we cant find one that looks like him can you please help me find one or tell me where i can get one thanks so much

Sorry Rachel, I’m not one of your fans.
I am so disappointed that almost every one of your meals is centered around meat. I would have no trouble with this even though I am a 76 year old vegan if but for these reasons: meat IS NOT GOOD FOR US - OR THE ENVIRONMENT, OR THE ANIMALS. Thank God what I am saying is finally catching on. Almost every health newsletter will say that we should make more vegetarian meals. Then raising animals in factory farms is cruel and stressful to the animals. Would love to send you material if you are blissfully unaware of this. Then there is the huge amount of animal wastes because of our sickening overconsumption of animal flesh. We are even endangering our rain forests because some of them are being cut away to raise cattle. Even MSN’s homepage today had an article on vegeterian cooking “Add a few vegetarian meals to your weekly menu, and you can start calling yourself a FLEXITARIAN.” Good advice. I hope you will take it.

Dear Rachel My boyfriend and I have loved watching ever since we saw 30 min meals. The reason for this email is to tell you about my best friend Karen Stump and to ask you a huge favor. Let me start by telling you about her. Years ago she was in the air force but her ex husband made her leave when she had their first child. She says he was very controlling and became abusive to her by their fourth child but she stayed because she had no where to go with her children. Anyway, she and her kids were homeless for awhile but thankfully she pulled herself up by her boot straps and made a good life for herself. Kevin her current husband is great to her kids and they’ve been married for 8 years. The one thing besides her kids that got her through the rough times was believe it or not Billy Joel. Karen credits him for saving her sanity when she felt hopeless. Last Nov. Karen helped to make my biggest dream in the world come true when she went with me to NY City to camp out over night in front of the Virgin Mega Store so I could meet my favorite person in the world, Paul McCartney. It was bitter cold and very rainy but all I had to do is ask and her comment was Hello it’s me of course anything for you. That’s who Karen is. Always willing to do for others, a great mom, and just an all around nice persn. Her biggest dream in the world is to meet Billy Joel and thank himm for being there when she felt so lost and alone and bringing such joy to her life with his music. Karen is such a fan that she has a BILLY ROOM IN HER HOUSE. It has everything. It’s amazingto see. I only wish I had a picture to show you. Could you please make my friends dream come true by having Billy on your show and allowing her to meet him. It would mean the world to her and she is truly deserving.I’ve noticed the way you get around certain people you admire so I’m sure you can understand what this would mean to Karen. Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you. Your’s Truly Lori Tercha

Dear Rachel,
I’ve been wanting to write to you. My friend was telling me that you had a guest that is able to communicate with the departed. My mother died last August and I miss her so much.
I promised to care for my father and he has been manipulated by my brother that has nothing to do with the family for over 4 years.
I am heart broken and wish I could communicate with her. I need some answers and my mind is boggled. I can’t believe what has happened. I’ve done so much for may father and my brother has his mind so manipulated that he isn’t even thinking straight. Our family is a mess and the one that has helped the least is taking everything. Please answer me.

I love all of Racel’s cooking shows and have been shopping for her cookbooks and have found lots of them. The problem I have is there isn’t enough pictures to show what the meal looks like so I haven’t bought any of her books. When I look through cookbooks I like to get ideas of what to make, and if there isn’t any pictures then it just doesn’t help me. Please have at least on cookbook with a picture of the food prepared on almost every page and I bet your sales will go up.

Dear Rachel, Both my husband and myself enjoy
your show and trying out your recipes. Just a quick question? Is there any reason your chose
the stove on your show other than it fitting into
the decor of the kitchen. I have longed for that
stove sooo long–we almost bought a house based on the fact that it was in the kitchen.
If this could be answered I would be very
grateful. Take care. Linda
