Eat This with Dave Lieberman

One of FoodTV’s hottest young chefs is going broadband, baby! From WebTube:
Get up on the latest culinary trends on “Dave Does,” a traveling cooking show that debuts Monday on Food Network’s Web site (foodnetwork.com/dave does ).
Celebrity chef Dave Lieberman hosts the 13-part broadband show, which makes stops in New York, Philadelphia and Portland.
A new 3-to-10 minute Webisode will debut every week, with two bonus installments — one on doughnuts and the other on school food — in the premiere.
I had to go check this out: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_et
Extremely cool and cutting edge. They have a video posted along with bonus videos, links to related web sites in a virtual notebook, photo gallery, and of course, links to products you can purchase.

I enjoy Dave’s recipes, but his cookbook, that I have reviewed 2x, has two mistakes (I’ll probably find more each time I review it). That is pitiful. Someone who may be new at cooking might be afraid to improvise. Dave, if you’re reading this - you know the cookbook is missing the temp on the potroast recipe, and tonight, I noticed your winter salad photo has crumbled cheese in it, but your recipe doesn’t list one cheese. I’ll figure it out, but again, for the starter chef/cook, they might be afraid to explore ingredients on their own - you should work harder at proof reading.

I hate it when recipes are written poorly. I am getting better about experimenting, but the first time I try something I adhere to what is written. In his defense this is something his editor and publisher should have discovered. It would be an easy mistake, especially for someone who probably cooks on the fly a lot. They get paid to check and fix the mistakes.
