Road Tasted: What Do You Think?

Have you been watching Road Tasted? I have and I am surprised to say the I enjoy the show.
Food Network has started having a lot of these type of informative food shows…like Food Finds. I really enjoy the way the Deen Boys are working the show. I don’t know if it is their homeboy brother attitude or the fact that this last show they were down in my neck of the woods learning about how they make Chocolate Covered Key Lime Pie Slices On A Stick. Need I say more?
What do you think? Can I not see the Deen Brothers for the Chocolate Key Lime Pie? Let me know what your opinions are on the Deen Brothers and their show Road Tasted. Do you think that they have mama’s Midas touch?
If you have missed Road Tasted, tune-in on Tuesday nights at 10pm EST on the Food Network.

I think I like this show too. The two boys are really “TV Hams” and that gets on my nerves. But I love that they’re combining food and travel.

Well, didn’t think I’d like this show and only tuned in because I got the titles “Road Tasted” confused with “Feasting on Asphalt”– get it, Road=Asphalt…
These Deen boys are great though!!
They are real animated, fun and genuinely interested in the people, places and foods they’re showcasing.
I’ve watched 2 episodes and really enjoyed them.
For comparison’s sake, to provide a contrast– Travel Channel’s Taste of America, a similarly themed program, hosted by Mark DeCarlo, falls horribly short of Road Tasted because although DeCarlo and the Deen’s are all pretty big hams, DeCarlo only seems to care about DeCarlo and his own jokes, which can leave one cold with Taste of America.
The New York Road Tested was awesome!

I agree. A lot of those other shows just don’t make you feel like you are a part of it. The Deen Boys have a way of making you feel like you are hanging out in that convertable with them.

you people are crazy. You can tell they are merely repeating written lines. They are the biggest oafs that have 0 peronality. Just like their fake mother.

Don’t like the show. Network is losing what it was s’posed to be. Where are the chefs? Doesn’t anyone good want to be on the Food Network?

I love these guys. They are so pleasant and have such a good time with their guests. And no, they are riding on their Moms fame. They just go with the flow and have a great time. I wish they would let me drive for them… that would be so great. I enjoy watching them with Paula. They show such love and respect for her. Go visit them at Lady and sons…you will love it. But go early because parking is scarce if you get there late.

They laugh like oafs. You can tell they know next to nothing about food and the only reason they got the show is because of their mom. You cant tell me they could just walk into food network and get the job without their mom pulling strings. Bunch of meat heads…

The Deen boys are fat, and it seems to me that they should watch a few of their own video’s. Jamie Deen looks pregnant is some of the video’s. They consume major calories and and it shows.

I think it’s a great show. Please don’t cancell it!
I ordered food from some of the places they visited and it’s as good as they say it it. For two
men with money, they’re still down to earth. Thanks to their momma.
