Guy Fieri's Big Bite Premiere

This Sunday morning I watched the premiere of Guy Fieri’s show, Guy’s Big Bite

He did a fantastic job and most importantly the food looked great.  So great in fact, I am went to the website and downloaded the recipe.

The menu consisted of grilled Bloody Mary Flank Steak, Grilled Romaine with Blue Cheese Bacon Vinaigrette and Parmesan Taters.  Guess what we will be having next weekend?

Stay tuned next week for Guy’s Big Bite, every Sunday morning at 10:00am, only on the Food Network.

I’m hoping Guy does well. He still needs to warm up to being on TV. But lots of potential. Food Network needs his look– there’s a niche for Guy. I’m glad he won. I think the Gal who was the third runner up is posting some quick cooking vids on Google Video and Youtube. Sorry, forgot her name.

I agree. I think guy will have a great future. He seems like the type of guy you would want to hang out with.

I’d love to see the show, but my satellite network won’t show it at it’s proper time! I am totally bummed because I know Guy, we live in Santa Rosa and when I used to work at a local print shop I’d do menus and flyers for him.

I was stoked and still see him around town now and again, but am totally tweaked about the missed shows.

    Guy,
This is the only way I know to contact you.
I work for the Atlantic City Sheraton Hotel next to the Convention Center. I was floored when I found out you and your family were staying with us. I work in Guest Services. I waited all morning to get a glimps of you. later I found out the an associate of mine at the Coffee Bar tried to call me to tell me you were having a cup of his coffee and loving it! After you left he came and found me and told me my disapointing news! I was so upset! I worked in the Culinary Industry for a while and did wedding cake and catering. My family owned a store in Flemington NJ called The Gourmet Express. Since we have sold and Im back in Guest Services.l I just love your work and your adorable!!!! Just wanted to tell you my story. P.S. My coffee friend would not give me your picture you autographed.

First of all I think you are uber cool! Was watching you cook a chicken today Sunday February 24th whilst I was working on my laptop and I noticed how sloppily you used the same wooden cutting board for your chicken as well as your bowl, limes, plates and everything. I noticed you washed your hands but never cleaned your salmonella ridden board then you proceeded to cut the limes with salmonella all over it and use the limes for another recipe. You could have used at least one lime to clean your board- You should know this! Shame on you! All I could think about for the next half hour was how you are thoughtlessly influencing people to cross contaminate food. I hope you “clean” up your act next time. Tip: For the love of God use another cutting board-Genius!

I am really surprised that the show producers didn’t notice this…or at least cleverly edit..
