Martha’s Blueprint

In the footsteps of Jay-Z, Martha Stewart is releasing her own blueprint, only rather than a rap album, its a magazine for multitasking young (25-45) women.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSO:NYSE - commentary - research - Cramer’s Take) plans a two-issue test of a new women’s magazine.

Titled Blueprint, the new magazine is expected in May with a follow-up issue slated for August.

The company says the magazine is designed to target women aged 25-45 and is geared towards today’s multitasking women. The May issue will have an initial rate base of 250,000. The company said it intends to publish six issues in 2007.
