Cheesy
After catching last night’s episode of Behind The Bash, which took place a few blocks from my apartment in New York, I needed to go check out the featured cheese shop for myself. Giada was covering a party at the NY Event Space, Capitale, thrown for New York’s bravest–the firefighters.
One of the dishes for the event was a four cheese mac and cheese with a spicy chili crust, and Giada picked the cheese up from one of NY’s best cheese shops in Little Italy, Di Palo’s.
Walking back from the gym today, I took a slight detour to get some cheese for myself. The employees in the shop were wonderful, helpful, and generous with the samples (mmm). They also appreciated that we stopped in after seeing them on the show with Giada. And I’m sure they appreciated seeing Giada in their store in the first place…

I love DiPalo’s. I have been going there forever. My grandparents would take us down there when we were little and I remember just standing there wide-eyed, taking in all the yummy smells!
