BAM!
Slowly but surely, I will introduce you to all of the Food Network’s luminaries. Today, I would like to give you a short intro to Emeril Lagasse.
If Emeril went to your high school, he would have probably been voted class president, but not because he was the coolest, but because everyone knew him, no one really disliked him, and he was clearly willing to put his all into each and every activity.
Emeril is a force in the cooking world. His primary cooking show has a live studio audience that cheers whenever he uses garlic, for christ’s sake. During a recent Thanksgiving-themed show, his “word of the day” was “turkey”, so every time he said the word, the crowd went wild. Luckily, he often said “bird” instead, but as you can imagine, it gets a bit trying.
Beyond this, Emeril has his name on all things condiment.
It’s hard to believe that this man runs a gourmet restaurant, because, to be honest, he seems more like a Bucca di Beppo type. You gotta give the guy credit though, he has created an empire, and there’s no use not getting used to him, because he is sure as hell not going anywhere.
