My Martha Revelation

A few years back, Martha Stewart bought the biggest home on the relatively small island that my family has spent its summers at every year of my life. Being from Boston, but wanting to avoid the jumble of cars that is the Cape, the Vineyard, or Nantucket, we opted for quiet Mt. Desert Island, Maine. A decade or two later, so did Martha.

Martha can do whatever she wants, of course (other than that whole “prison” fiasco, that seemed to have been a lot less of a PR nightmare than it could have been), and so Maine became (one of) Martha’s summer destination.

I’ve always been reluctant to enbrace the queen of all things do-it-yourself. Perhaps I’m a bit too young to really appreciate her genious. Perhaps I’m blinded by pastels. Or perhaps, I haven’t been paying enough attention to what she’s doing over there, because just this morning I stumbled across a Martha gem:
Beer Drinker’s Pizza Dough!
Not just Pizza and Beer in the same sitting, but Pizza and Beer in the same bite! I may just have to pay closer attention to this Martha character.
